The first item, bergmap.jpg is a section of a map showing Romania, Moldavia and part of the Ukraine (including Chernivtsi).
Carmelly.jpg is a review of Felicia Carmelly's book documenting the Transnistria tragedy that appeared in the Canadian Jewish News.
The next item, 'weisinger.jpg' is an interesting photograph taken in 1922 during Nahum Sokolow's visit to Czernowitz. Fay's mother, Regina Weisinger is 'circled' in the white hat. [ I was trying to figure out if the man in the fedora in the first row (extreme right) was Sokolow, and so I dug around for the next picture, which is a picture of him. Can anyone help me out here? -ed ]
Next 'transtrain.jpg' is a photo of railroad cars, exactly like those used in the deportation of Jews to Transnistria.
