An Album of Photographs from Zev Cohen's 2008 Trip to Czernowitz
003-4.JPG.medium.jpeg
This photo and the two that follow are of the house located at Ul. Costachi Negruzzi 13 (formerly Ulitsa Pirogova and before that Winzergasse). Apartment 13c is registered in the municipal archives relating to the 1930's in the name of Lazar Pollak, a tailor (croitor), my mother's first husband. He joined the Red Army when it occupied Czernowitz and retreated with it, never to be seen or heard from again.

This is the frontal view of the house.
