Hi Cornel, the girls were on the women's balcony during the ceremony - well prepared for what they had to expect - and were called down by the rabbi to share vine and food at the end with everybody. Rabbi Glitsenstein made it all in the most charming way and nobody felt offended.

Christian posted a report of the camp leader the Volunteers group
Yevhenii Shatskyi.
Thank you Christian,

"3) Spirit entertainment
We visited Chernovtsy synagogue and a lot of other Jewish organizations and
buildings, we spoke to people whom I'd never seen in other circumstances,
and we expanded our knowledge about Jewish community and their style of
life, customs. In synagogue we had amazing experience of participating on
the ceremony of meeting the Saturday (praying). Girls enjoyed this part
less; coz according to Jewish custom girls cannot be in the same room with
men who pray. Actually I understand that girls have a lot of power to
distract concentration of men who try to speak to God ;-)

Yes , girls have the power to distract concentration of men speaking to
anyone, beware !
