My this year's motorcycle ride to Bukovina, Ukraine and Romania is now over; 6,257 km = 3,888 mi in 16 stages over 33 days. I'm owing you my last three stage reports from Timisoara, Vienna and Nuremberg. You'll find all of them, as well as all other reports, at my ultimate "Photo & Video Finish and Balance Sheet in...":

Except a puncture in the fuel tank of my motorcycle - not too funny at an outside temperature of almost 40C = 104F - and a few road blocks in Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova

I didn't face major problems during my journey, increasing the "risk of repetition" for next year. Odessa, still in Ukraine, is just a perfect dream, very much worth to explore in detail!

Enjoy the "Photographic Afterthought" at my posting, but please, please don't miss the gypsy tunes brought to you by Marinel and Vasile from Clejani, whom I met in Nuremberg. Clejani is the home of the most famous Taraf de Haidouks and Marinel and Vasile, who learned from them, are keeping this extraordinary musical tradition up and it's completely irrelevant, that they are "just" street musicians.

Concluding, I'd like to thank you for your words of encouragement, your patience and your participation in my expedition. You were excellent travelling companions!
