" It usually raised the audiences on their feet requiring "Bis Bis
and receiving two or three repeats...
I experienced this several times at the Volksoper in Vienna, but my parents=
, living in the Althgasse, experienced it a number of times at the Scala pr=
obably or at the national Theatre nearby.
and just a few tens of cobbles from Czernowitz raise these memories..
