[czernowitz-l] Samuel Dubowy and Fanny Porylle

Hi all,

You may remember that some time ago I have inquired about my great
grandfather Gedalje Dubowy (and Iosif Vaisman helped me a lot with
information).

Recently I found some relatives, descendants of one of Gedalje's sons,
Samuel, who emigrated to America sometime between 1890 and 1900. I've been
in touch with them and gathered some additional information on their side of
the family.

Samuel married Fanny Porylle and they had five children: Charles, Celia,
Sigmund, Joseph and Anna. Some of them were born in the old country, and
some in the US.

Not much is known about Fanny Porylle and I could not find anything on the
Porylle name itself. She may (or may not) have had a second name, Hannah.
She passed away in 1934 (in New Jersey I believe).

My question is: has anyone ever encountered the name Porylle?
