related to Czernowitz itself, or additionally was interested in matters

My grandfather's family, FISCHER (Nathan) lived in Dorosauti (now
Doroshovtsy), a few miles north of Czernowitz, on the Dniesser R.
My grandmother's family, SPIERER (Hana) came from Zvineace a few miles
to the west.
Do you have any information about the area around Czernowitz including
how records might be obtained?
