It's really very nice of you to think of this group when deciding
upon donations. Up to now, we are not a tax-exempt organization, nor
do we have any formal structure at all. We exist purely because of
our joint interest in the history of our Czernowitz and Bukowina
ancestors, and so far all we've had to pay for has been our accounts
providing access to the internet.

Because JewishGen has been the primary vehicle that pulled us all
together, let me suggest that you consider donations to keep
JewishGen going <http://www.jewishgen.org/JewishGen-erosity/>.
Another organization we should all consider is the Bukowina Jews
World Union - <http://www.bukovinajewsworldunion.org>. Isak Shteyn
is in the process of linking our group with this organization. We
hope this proves mutually fruitful. They have published the German
language monthly, die Stimme, for many years, in which we can find
many articles about Bukowina and activities of the organization.

In the future, when Czernowitz Jewish records become available at the
LDS Family History libraries, we may wish to start a fund-raising
effort to help create a web-postable index of these records.
