Today I completed a list of over 3,100 Jewish passengers listed in
the Ellis Island Database (1892-1924) who give their home town as
Czernowitz. I can send this to you individually attached to an email
- let me know if you prefer an Excel or Word document. It is amazing
to see the spelling variations *and the many names researched by list
members* on this document. Some of the spelling variations are
precisely as seen on the manifest, and others are due to
transcription errors because of hard-to-read handwriting. In any
case, If you'd like this document, please let me know.

By the way, I have similar documents for those listing their last
residence as either Radauti or Sadagora. They are also yours for the
asking (right now available as Excel only).
