We're in "Die Stimme"

The Bukowina organization posted a note about our group in their
monthly paper, Die Stimme. At least one new member has joined us as
a result; I hope more will do so, too. I also noticed at least one
article about the search of one of our members for information on his
family history in the current issue of Die Stimme. These continuing
ties between our online group and the Bukovina Jews World Union are
sure to be of mutual benefit.

By the way, they send thanks to all of our members who responded to
their call for material for a planned book on the Jewish history of
northern Bukovina.

Many folks helped see these project to completion, but I thank in
particular Jerome Schatten of Canada for scanning all the many
images, Osnat Ramaty of Germany for creating html pages of the scans
for the JewishGen web site, and Jerome Silverbusch of the USA for
translating the captions as well as the new book chapter from German
into English. Joyce Field and the Yizkor book project team are also
to be thanked for their continual efforts and enthusiasm.
