Bruce & all, sorry to stray off topic, but I felt I had to respond to this

You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
(Exodus 20:13)

Levelling the sort of accusation you have without any evidence is
venturing into "tinfoil hat" territory. As Jews, we know the consequences
of being accused of falsehood. I can point to blood libel, the "Protocols
of the Elders of Zion," the lies told about Jonathan Pollard, the lies
told about the Sabra and Chatilla refugee camps, the "International
Banking Conspiracy," that Jews secretly control the US, do I need to go

We have been accused of dark conspiracies time and again through history
where there were none, with deadly consequences. As all of us on this
list know, one of the consequences was the sacking and destruction of
Jewish life in Czernowicz, Sadagora, and most of the rest of Europe.
As a result, I think that it's particularly ugly for us to level similar
charges of backstabbing and dishonesty against others without any evidence
other than our own (understandable!) persecution-induced paranoia.

Just some thoughts...
