<FONT face=Arial size=2>I'm looking for information about 2 families that
are related to each other by marriage: the FISCHERs and the SONSTEINs. I
know some of the FISCHERs are from a town south west of Czernowitz called
Crasna Ylschi (in Romanian) or Krasnoilsk (in Russian). This town is just above
the current Romanian Border. Only 1 member of the family (out of about 100)
survived the Holocaust, so it has been more than difficult to trace this part of
the family. I learned about the only survivor through other relatives, but no
one knows her name. She moved to Israel after the war.</FONT>
<FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT>
<FONT face=Arial size=2>I found the town listed in the book <EM>Where We
Once Walked. </EM>It said there were 97 Jews in the town before the war, and 1
survivor, but there is no mention of the town anywhere else (thatI've
found) in Holocaust Literature.</FONT>
<FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT>
<FONT face=Arial size=2>If anyone has information about the FISCHERs or
SONSTEINs from this town, or, about the town itself, I would love to hear from
you.</FONT>
<FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT>
<FONT face=Arial size=2>Regards,</FONT>
