your thoughts on the books I asked about. My intention was to get them as
a present to my mother on her 80th birthday.</FONT>

<FONT face=Arial>I gave up the idea of ordering them from Amazon.de when I
discovered that the delivery (Germany to England) might take up to 21
days!Books can apparently be sent to Germany from Amazon in
Englandvia a priority service, but amazingly this does not apply in the
reverse direction. So I ordered them from a bookshop in London
instead. This also saved the difficulty of ordering on-line on a
German-only site.</FONT>
