<x-flowed>Hi Larry:
Though the Czernowitz burial register database isn't yet finished, I
looked through the section for letter L, 1917-1919, and found several
Lobls (o with umlaut), but no Schulem. There was a Mina Lobl,
however, who died in 1918 - possibly your Mantsye?
There is a Schulem Loebl who died in 1935 - wonder if that's him or a relative?
There is another place to find information on Unter-Stanestie on the
JewishGen yizkor book site:
http://www.jewishgen.org/yizkor/Bukowinabook/bukowina.html
Click on the link to Unter Stanestie on this page.
On the Sadagora ShtetLinks web site (address below), you'll see a
link to the burial listing for the First Sadagora YMBA. I posted
this based on a sometimes hard to read copy of the burial map given
to me by Linda Vann. If you can help me fill out the listing based
on your father's files, that would be terrific.
Welcome to the group!
Best wishes,
Bruce Reisch
