<x-charset windows-1255> Dear Mr. Roll,
first of all I want to thank you for your "normal" reaction to my last
e-mail and the quoted letter.
I am so hurt at the present time by Mr Levy's second attack, that I have
decided not to write to the group for a while, at least not until I have
calmed down.
I myself have lived in Czernowitz until my 16th year, and those were very
crucial years full of unexpected events good and bad. After the war I spent
several years on a Caribbean island before finally settling in Israel for
the last half century.

No matter what - I consider myself a product of Czernowitz, whatever I do,
think and know has its roots in my hometown. I have even written a book
describing my childhood and youth there ("A Reason Why") which sells well in
Israel as well as in the States.

We, here in this group, discuss our roots a lot. However, we do have our
lives which go on, and especially here in Israel, they are far from easy
lives. We never know what the end of each day will bring, and...we do
worry!!!

I thought that if one joins a friendly group, one can occasionally say
something which is on our mind at the spur of the moment, even tell a joke,
just...climb on a soap box for a minute or two.
Seems that I was mistaken, and if so, I again, as I did in the past, must
apologize.

For the moment - it's time out for me.
  Lucca
