Dear Bruce,
....probably, we need a moderator....as the lots of messages came in.....
May be several issues of common interest could be defined and definitely
asking people to send specific messages to the person/s to whom there were
addressed .... it is definitely stupid to receive daily tens of messages
just to delete them...

I, for example, I would like to find out if between the members of the group
there people which knew my parents.
Both grew up in Storojenetz, then married and studied in Czernowitz. My
father, Koku (Simon) Neuman- Weininger, was born in 1911. He studied
physics, chemistry and mathematics in Czernowitz and Bucuresti in the early
thirties and after graduatiog started teaching in Oradea (Romania). He
passed away in 1989. My mather, Clara, born Hernes-Loebl, turned 90 last
month. She married my father in 1935, while being a student (French, German,
History of Arts). She followed my father to Oradea were they taught until
the war broke out, when they returned home, to Czernowitz. In 1945 they left
and our family was in Cluj, Romania until 1970 when we came to Israel.

My mother had a brother, Karl Hernes-Loebl, born in 1922. He learned in
Czernowitz agricuture when the war broke out. Together with a group of young
people they "left" to join the red army and disappeared... we never heard
from him again...

Regards,
Jolie
