Through my research, I have found that families in the small villages
surrounding Opriseni came to the village to the home/shul of Salamon
Pariser.

The names of these villages are: Slobozia-Berlinti, Starcea, Cerepcauti,
Poiani, Garbauti, and Stanesti (de Sus and de Jos). These are all
villages of about two thousand people, with maybe five Jewish
families in each. All the villages are between Czernowitz and
Sereth. In addition there was one nearby village with a "significant"
Jewish population: Tereblecea.

If there is anyone out there whose family came from one of these villages,
I'd be very happy to hear from you.
