Hi Denise,

Moghilev (Or - Mohiliv-Podilskij) is about 100 KM West to Czernowitz,
slightly smaller town then the city of Czernowitz. Moghiliv is residing on
the Dniester River right where it is changing direction from West to
south-West it its way to the Black sea while poured to the Lyman where the
town of Akkerman (Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky) is residing.

As far as I know Moghilev had no concentration camp in its immediate
surroundings, rather, many from Czernowitz sent to Kopaygorod a detention
center (Near by a tiny town by that name) about 40 Km North to Moghilev
(many of my Czernowitz family members sent to die there). The Ukrainians
collaborators, under the supervision of the Nazis, where happy to shoot the
Czernowizians there, in any occasion possible so many did not survive.

When I am asking the survivors of Kopaygorod detention camp where it is
located? the answer is always..."Near by Moghilev" so it seems to me that
you may actually referring to Kopaykorod camp.

On the other hand somebody more knowledgeable then I am may help here
better.
