[Cz-L] Searching a Rabbi

I've got a small dilemma I thought maybe someone in the group may be
able to help out with. Making Aliyah is not unbureaucratic. I need to
find confirmation that the rabbi who married my parents in 1950 in
Brooklyn was orthodox. (He was, according to my mother). His name was
Chaim Porille and until now he hasn't been findable in any of the
registries of orthodox rabbi organisations. Is it possible that one
among us may have known him?
