I'm sure someone has a better way of doing this, but the only thing I can
think of is to go to our map site at
http://members.shaw.ca/czernowitz/maps/index.html and look for map 10,
Cernauti-street.jpg. You will see there is an index of Romanian/German
street names. The Czernowitz Street Finder thinks that Atlasgasse = Vasilco
Alexandru as does this map. It looks like the co-ordinates are '8O' (eight
oh). Get an idea of how this street runs... maybe draw it out on paper with
respect to something nearby. Then go to:
http://www.lemko.org/maps/cities/chernivtsi/
which gives a modern city map with Ukrainian street names and see if you can
recognize the street from its position on the other map. Only thing is, the
names are in Cyrillic alphabet. Once you locate the street, someone should
be able to translate the street into the English alphabet or transliterate
it.
