I am a new member of this list and I would like to let the rest of
you know what my
interests are.
Joel Pikholz/Pfeffer (his mother was Pikholz and his father was
Pfeffer, but the
family used both names) of Kopicienice married Mota Salter of Radauti. They
married in Czernowitz in 1911 and their daughter was born there a year later.
They went to Chemnitz Germany and the daughter was alive in Mexico as of 1999.
I have not been able to make contact with her.
Rifka Pikholz of Buczacz married Binyamin Zvi Bernstein of Radauti.
Their children
were born 1901-1908. Some descendants were killed in the Shoah and others
came here to Israel and I have some contact with them.
Moshe Pikholz of Tarnopol married Freida Kreek (I'm not sure where she came
from) and at least some of their children (b. ~1903-1912) were born in Raduati,
though apparently the family lived later in Kolomiyya. One son came
to Israel and
others were killed or their fates are unknown.
