Hello, dear friends,

I would recommend to add to the above-mentioned list of the
http://czernowitz.ehpes.com website the book written by Dr. David Schaary
"Yahadut Bukovina bein Shtey Milkhamot Haolam" (in English translation:
The Jews of Bukovina between the Two World Wars). It was published two years
ago by the Tel Aviv University (available only in Hebrew, for the time
being).

I see that the book published by Helmut Braun "Czernowitz - Die Geschichte
einer untergegangenen Kulturmetropole" is already in the Reading List. As
most of you probably know, it is not available in Israel. One of our friends
bought it for me in Germany; I just finished reading it and found it very
well written, very informative and enjoyed reading it. Highly recommended to
every Czernowitzer ("first, second or third generation").
