Dear Hennelore,
I asked my mother about this. All she remembers was that there was a Dr.
Merdler in Czernowitz who was a gynaecologist and who had a private
clinic in the
Russische Gasse. My mother knew his wife and her sister, but she thinks
they had no children. This is all she remembers, but maybe it helps.
