The trouble is that the food I grew up on, while delicious, was laden
with Cholesterol. If fleishich, chicken shmalz and egg yolk; if
milshich, butter and egg yolk. Oh, and my mother (z"l) would have
considered skimming the fat off of her chicken soup to be almost
chilul Hashem.
