[Cz-L] Last names

Good afternoon everyone,
I have a new question to put to the group: I learned today that in the
mid-1800s or thereabouts, Jews were "given" or assigned last names -
sometimes based on where they lived, or what they did for a living - and
that it is conceivable that while we may have the same last names, we
may not actually be related.
I am in search of people who know the names
