hi to all. while on 2 visit s to czernowitz i was told by different people
that both the germans and then the russians wanted to tear down the temple.
neither succeeded , the walls are too thick and strong and to blow it up
would have destroyed the whole area. if anything is to be done then i can
see no better plan than to rededicate it as what it is......the czernowitz
temple. cornel
