April Bukowiner meeting

Dear Czernowitzers and Bukowiners,

I would like us to resume discussion on the suggested meeting.
As you will remember, on Aug. 1st I sent this list a set of questions
designed to establish how many of us are interested in having a meeting
next April and what the preliminary decisions regarding this meeting
should be.

Here is a copy of the questionnaire I sent out at that time:

Questionnaire about a proposed Bukowiner meeting in Israel

1. Would you participate in a Bukowiner meeting in Israel in April 2007?
2. Do you favor having a 3 day meeting? If not, then how many days?
3. Would you like the meeting to start April 11?
4. If April 11 does not suit you, suggest another date.
5. Please make suggestions as to the content and program of the meeting.
6. Are you willing to materially help in planning and making arrangements
   for this meeting?
7. Please make suggestions related to any other aspects of this meeting.

Please answer on or before Aug. 10th by writing to the Cz.-List.
In the subject line of your message write "Bukowiner Meeting".
Please answer each question individually, in numerical order.

Soon after I sent this questionnaire, the conflict with Hizbullah turned
into a war and most of us were too worried and preoccupied to think
about a Czernowitzer meeting.
Because of this, very few people answered the questionnaire
and I thought it best to postpone further discussion on this topic.

I think we should resume the discussion now and hope that all who are
interested will respond to the above questionnaire by August 27th.
I will tabulate the answers and send them to the list by Aug. 30.
