Has anyone been successful in writing directly to the Archives in
Chernivisti for bmd records? I'm particularly interested in those
from Storozhinets, Bukovina. Has anyone found records from
Storozhinets anywhere else? According to Miriam Weiner's Routes to
Roots there are no bmd records prior to 1909. Of course that would
be the time period I'm interested in!
