hi, a bit i meant to add and forgot! a recent message from one of us said
that mamaliga and polenta are the same. related they certainly are but
not at all the same. all the polenta i have ever come across is solid and
needs cutting, while mamaligha is much softer, some versions have bits of
fruit or raisins and is eaten with a spoon and not like polenta with a knife
and fork! cornel
