According to Mr Kogan's recommendation I have recently purchased the book
"Bukowina jews between the 2 world wars" by David Sha'ari, in Hebrew,
published by the Tel Aviv university, and I must confess that I have found
it to be a fabulous piece of work. It deals with all possible aspects of
jewish life in Bukowina and is an historical masterpiece.
It costs 75 NIS including posting.

If anyone is interested in buying it, I'll be happy to give you the
practical details involved.
