I very much disagree with you Hardy. The Holocaust in general
and the Holocaust as it affected the Jews of Czernowitz, is NOT
the central issue of this discussion group, nor the reason for
our belonging to it. The holocaust is not what WE did, but what
was done to us. I am proud of the culture and achievements of
Jewish Czernowitz, I want the legacy and heritage of Jewish
Czernowitz as it was before 1940 to be remembered and serve
as an example. As long as the fate of Czernowitz Jews from 1940
till 1945 is included in the initial exhibition of the Jewish museum,
I am satisfied.
