[Cz-L] Accomplished Romanian Jews

I've been corresponding with a writer, Vladimir Wertsman, about a new
book he is preparing. He write: "I AM INTERESTED ONLY IN NOTED
ROMANIAN JEWS FROM AMERICA & CANADA, THEIR ACHIEVEMENTS AFTER
IMMIGRATION , INCLUDING HOLOCAUST SURVIVORS IN USA & CANADA WHO
WROTE & PUBLISHED BOOKS ABOUT THEIR HOLOCAUST EXPERIENCES IN
ROMANIA."

If you have some suggestions for Mr. Wertsman, please write to me and

Note that his emphasis on the current project is on Romanian Jews in
the USA and Canada. I have so far mentioned to him the
accomplishments of Norman Manea, Joseph Morris Juran, and Marianne
