[Cz-L] Suggested letter to Mr. Zissels

I suggest that we write Mr. Zissels as follows:

In reading the letter of Ms. Lenchkovska, we are in doubt about
the meaning of the phrase:

           "beginning of the holocaust"

We hope that by this term is NOT meant the period of the Soviet
rule of 1940-41 to the exclusion of the WW2 period.
For the Jews of Cernauti the holocaust started with the beginning
of the Romanian rule in the summer of 1941.
  
We would like the wall devoted to exhibits about the holocaust,
to consist of displays showing all the major actions taken by the
Antonescu government in the years 1941-1944 against the Jews of
Cernauti and the effect these actions had on the Jewish population.

In our opinion, the presentation should include:

1. Facts and figures about this period, showing the scope
   and effect on the Jewish population.
2. Copies of documents and photographs which are evidence
   of the events of those years.

Members of the Cz.-List are eager to assist in preparing
the exhibition by supplying photographs and copies of documents,
as well as by supplying facts and figures, or reliable sources
 from which these could be obtained.
