I don't know if you read "Die Stimme". I received today this month's Stimme
and in it was a notice telling about the museum to be established in the
Kultusgemeinde, and asking people to contribute material. giving the phone
number of Mrs. Bartfeld-Feller. She is one of the Czernowitzers deported to
Siberia who also published a few books. I called her to ask her what she
knows about what is going on. She told me that the initiative is Ziessel's
and he was today here in Israel and is leaving this evening. He also was
today at the office of the World organization of the Bukovina Jews. She also
told me that he told her that our group totally misunderstood his intentions
and he has a problem communicating with us as he does not know English. He
will be back here next month. Maybe we should meet him to clear up matters.
