Thanks to all who have written making suggestions as to the content or
wording of the inscription on the plaque commemorating the deeds of Traian
Popovici.

Follows my own suggestion, based on the assumption that the plaque will be
placed on the house in the Herrengasse in which he lived:

5n this house lived Traian Popovici ( 1892 - 1946 ), who as mayor of this
city during the WW2 period, he saved 20 000 Jews from being deported to
Transnistria and probable death. In grateful remembrance from those he saved
and their descendants.

Please, All who want to make new suggesions or respond to those which were
made so far, please do so by May 12th.
