[Cz-L] Popovici: Facts and figures

Hi All,
  The latest posts deal with the numbers of authorizations issued
by Popovici in order to put the number of the Jews he saved on
the memorial plate correct .
   We want the number to be big , the bigger the number the
bigger Popovici's credit.
   Schindler saved only 1700 and got a Spielberg movie !
    In line with this Popovici should get 10 Coppola movies.
    There is a Jewish saying :"Whoever saves one soul ,saves the entire
world."
   I would remove the numbers from the plate - just put there:
   " He saved many Jews. "
     What is important and true is that if there was no Popovici
   a l l the Jews of Czernowitz would have been deported .
       This is a fact one must remember.
