Dear Gary,
I think I know the answer:
The main Jewish cemetery is located in the Horecea suburb of
Czernowitz.
Horecea in Rumanian , Gorece in Russian ,Horece in Yiddish.
But this is located on the right bank of the Prut like Czernowitz .
Sadagura is on the left bank and has its own cemetery.
So there is some confusion but my hunch is that it is Horecea.
Horecea was so popular it was used as a synonym to cemetery.
Hardy
