  Dear Andrew, MIriam, and to all persons that have just written me,

I am sorry for my delayed response. I have a very busy master
programme. I will be enroled in this programme for more 4 weeks this
summer. Now I cannot help you concerning the pieces of information
you asked me. I hope I will do my `homework` as soon as possible. I
must mention that this period of time I tried to realise a project
concerning the bust of Traian Popovici. A carver has already been in
Fundu Moldovei village for studying the problem.

     I will give you a short answer to some problems that have been
raised (for the persons that asked me)
    1. I didn't realise to establish a relation with a person from
Cernauti (although I tried also to the Romanian Consulate)
    2. Popovici's brother is dead and there are not known other close
relatives. Maybe there would be a close relative of Popovici's wife.
It must be studied this problem.
    3. I will try to give you further information (as soon as
possible) about Traian Popovici.
    4. Fundu Moldovei belongs to Romania, not Ukraine. Only the
Northern part of Bucovina belongs to Ukraine.
