Dear David,
I agree with you that omitting the Romanian inscription, is a great pity.
But the plaque will be there to remind and to teach, hopefully it will have
a beneficial impact. It will be placed diagonally opposite the hotel
Bristol, which serves now as the dormitory or hostel for medical students.
Unfortunately we do not live in utopia. I do not know the sources of the
enmity between Ukrainians and Romanians.
(Since we are on this topic, can anyone explain?)
The fact is that it exists.
