Cornel,

Please look at the archived messages on the "ehpes" site and you will see
that some weeks ago, I asked members of the list to let me know their
opinions regarding the design of the plaque. I received many answers which
I take into consideration. I did not ask specifically for opinions about the
choice between Romanian inscription and portrait, but I do know how many
people wanted a portrait and how many were upset that there would be no
Romanian inscription. I will decide, because asking everyone's opinion about
every detail, and these details change again and again, is not practical.

Cornel, I would strongly advise you to read Cicero's speech to Catalina.
