The Judengasse was the main street of what was once the Judenstadt, the very
of old Czernowitz, There is nothing derogatory about this.
It shows the Jewish identity of Czernowitz.
It is in the center of old Czernowitz.
It is from old times ,is our history , we are not ashamed of this.
If your opinion the name was removed in order to do us a service !
The best, by this , was to remove the street completely and remove
the "shame".
