[Cz-L] Cz. Jewish cemetery

Christian Hermann and I are working on a list of information
needed and sources from which this information may be obtained,
in order to develop a comprehensive plan for the rehabilitation
and long term maintenance of the cemetery.
We hope to have this list ready in a few days, at which time,
we will send it to the list, for additions and comments.

In the meantime, I would be very grateful, if some members
of the list could do research into the activities of the
"US Commission for the preservation of America's Heritage abroad"
in general and in the Ukraine in particular. I believe that this
organization could be very helpful to us, in our efforts
to rehabilitate and preserve the Chernivtsi Jewish cemetery.

I have written to the organization, but as yet have not received
an answer. My letter may have been too vague or not directed
to the right department. I find their website, somewhat difficult
to navigate.

We need to know how to apply to them for help, whether they
are likely to help us and what form this help would take.
