Hello All,
The editor of Die Stimme is Mrs Baerbal Rabi, a very pleasant and cooperati=
ve young lady (a native German speaker).
Their mail is: elibuko_at_netvision.net.il
They are desperately looking for new subscribers as the number of their cur=
rent subscribers keeps on dwindling.
They have 2 English language pages in every edition.
They do not charge for advertisements at all (It is enough to be a subscrib=
er).
I welcome Cz and Bukowina material of every sort and I am sure would love t=
o get regular updates by e-mail or fax by everyone who is willing to contrib=
ute, in any language (they make the translations).

Mimi, et al.

I just looked at my link for <http://www.bukovinajewsworldunion.org>
on the website. There used to be an on-line version of 'Die Stimme'
there, but now, nothing. There is a placeholder webpage with the title
'bukovinajewsworldunion.org' followed by nothing but silly adverts.
So, I guess the on-line edition as well as their website are now
defunct.

Also I believe that at the Hesed Shushana
<http://shushana.h1.ru/ENG/eng_index.html> website there was also a
link to bukovinajewswoldunion.org, but I couldn't find it today.

So, how would one contact them? Who's the editor?

I believe there's a Lyris list function that just sends an email
message to subscribers with the 'subject line' of the messages for the
day (Bruce am I correct?). That might do for whomever has email at Die
Stimme, and then they could download the messages they were interested
in and print them in the paper.

That gives the editor access without having to get all the messages,
and saves someone on the list guessing at what might be of interest to
that group.

Best,
jerome

[Moderator's note: Yes, Jerome, any list member can receive a single daily=
digest with all messages, or just a listing of messages with subject lines =
and the first few words of each post. Regarding the World Organization of B=
ukowina Jews, I have their current web site at: <http://www.bukowina.org.il=
/>. It's primarily in Hebrew, but if you click on "Die Stimme", it brings y=
ou to a page with several editions from 2006. It looks like there were not =
further posts of Die Stimme since then, but there is a person listed who can=
be contacted by email. Moderator Bruce]
