Yuri did not charge money for information.
He speaks French and German fluently but far from perfect.
In 2006 I met him and had 2 graves including the stones restored.
He was very professional, supervised the work done and sent photos
of the work accomplished. He was, and probably is still now second in charge
for both the Christian and Jewish cemeteries.
Works on graves require authorization by the authorities and/or through the
Jewish community
You can contact me personally for details, contacts, etc. as they were 2
years ago.
