The Jewish cemetery is still currently in use, but as far as I know,
burials are privately arranged. Last summer, during one of my visits
to the cemetery I found a grave being dug and prepared by two workers
under the supervision of one of the elderly members of the Jewish community.
The grave was for the sister of his wife or companion and because of his
advanced age, I doubt that he was employed by either he city or the Jewish
community.
