thanks Jerome - I should add that there are advantages and
disadvantages to being incorporated - it provides structure and a
vehicle for collecting funds - but can eliminate the spontaneity of
individual action - that "seat of the pants" impulse that often
actually gets things done. Also before you know it you have to hire an
administrator because there are too many things take care of for
volunteer adminsitration. Again the by-laws should be written so as to
allow for maximum flexibility.
