I remember the cinemas by location, names changed with the regimes therefore
confusing:
   On the Herrengasse : Savoy on the west - opposite Dr Rothgasse
                                   Capitol opposite the Deutsches Haus
                                    Deutsches Haus
                              Landhausgasse Roxy on the north side near
the Hauptstrasse .
      Musikverein on the Mehlplatz Central
       Schillergasse corner Althgasse Scala also served as Jewish
theatre.

       And to these was added the biggest of them all : the" Chernivtsi "of
the Zhovten group.
       which started as a Jewish Temple.
