I would like to add to what I wrote in my last Email.

Hardy assumes that the trees and vines which will be cleared away, will grow
back just as fast as they are growing now. This will not be the case.
The plan is to cut down all the large trees which supply the seeds for the
sapling trees, to pull as many of the vines out by their roots and to spray
herbicides over the whole area. If this plan is properly executed, the
appearance of new growth will be appreciatively slowed.
