[Cz-L] Christian cemetery

Czernowitzers......I have received a large amount of information about the
problems and the state of the Christian cemetery opposite ours....and they
too have problems.Due to contract workers there graves are being
damaged....Jerome is putting some of the pictures that came onto the
website.Reinhold Czarny says there may have been money problems with these
contractors...and I have sent the German emails to Mimi so we make sure we
do not have that problem with our cemetery.I cannot put all I received on
our site..it is in German with many pictures attached.There is also a
newspaper article from a south German paper. If anybody would like to
receive all this,send me your email address and I will forward. There is
also a report of a German tourists recent visit to Czernowitz. In
summary...it seems that the maintenance of the Christian cemetery is to a
large degree dependent on family involvement...and where there is none there
is deterioration. Cornel
