[Cz-L] Photographs of the Jewish cemetery taken Aug. 2009

Dear Czernowitzers,

I finally managed to put all the photographs I took in the cemetery on a

Mainly I took these photographs to illustrate the look of the areas cleared
by the workers hired by Dr. Bursuk, in comparison to the areas which have
not been cleared. Also to show the effect of the herbicides, now being used.
Some of the photographs are of the area cleared last year by the volunteers
of SVIT Ukraine, or this year by the volunteers from ASF Germany.
In addition there are photographs of gravestones I found interesting and
photographs to illustrate the problem of broken, fallen and likely to fall
stones.

In a day or two, I will also write you exactly which areas of the cemetery
have been cleared and the size of these areas.

In about a week, I should also be able to tell you the location of some of
the graves in the photographs, on which the gravestones bear a legible name.
